Discussion on celebrity weight and carried on from the article about celebrities and their relative body types.

there are a good amount of female celebrities who take little care of their body and in that way are thus very thin. a lot, if not a majority know how to properly take care of themselves and exercise to a great degree to keep themselves thin. combined with an extremely clean diet and thus they have very little fat on their bodies.

it also has to do with roles based on the character the actress is playing. acting can require changing your body to suit the look of a character. you have to know a lot about yourself and the human body in order to achieve the look of a particular character, just look at sylvester stallone in rocky and rambo. look at hillary swank in million dollar baby, or robert de niro in taxi driver. actors clearly love their body, but their also love acting a lot more.

One of the more amazing ones was Christian Bale from The Machinist to Batman!

hell yeah, you gotta give mad props to someone to go against the natural set habits of the human body so drastically. i should have mentioned him.

the obvious arnold in his flicks. notice, he looks a little slimmer in predator (trying to imic the slimmer military man?).

Arnold was a juicer in those days. Changing your look was probably took as much chemical adjustment as it did diet and routine adjustment.

Not dissing Arnold because he obviously had superior drive and genetics.

I think Arnold is a remarkable human being. When he first got to this country he was REALLY bulked up (not the slimmer version we're used to) and he barely spoke any English. A reporter asked him what his next goal was and he said he planned to become a number one box office movie star. The reporter tried not to laugh at him.

I wonder what would have happened if he'd told that same reporter he planned to become Governor of California after his movie success.

He's a great example of what clear goal setting and working to achieve those goals can do for you.
