He's all I've ever known...........
I've kissed three men total. He was the best kisser. His hands have caressed me and exposed my secrets with his fingertips. His eyes have spoken more to me than than the words of his mouth. His arms have held me securely throughout the storms of life.

But now, His kisses make me feel confused. Those are his lips.....but I don't recognize his face. His eyes....they used to be filled with mystery. They are now overcome by exhaustion, fatigue, weary, red rings. His hands are familiar and they try to pull me close. But I can not get close....a barrier of flesh and fat intercept our attempt at tenderness.

The skin on his elbows is now fat and saggy. His hair barely there on top.

He's all I've ever known. How do you leave someone you've poured your whole life into. Can friendship really sustain? I think that if perhaps we agreed that I wouldn't have to be intimate I might be okay. But it's so hard to continue to hear him say "oh, honey, you're so beautiful." It's so hard when he'll just reach over and squeeze my boobs or grab my butt. It's so hard when he looks at me with desire and I feel like a bad wife if I don't give in to his wants. It's so hard to make love with your eyes closed......

It's so hard to watch the love of your life kill themselves by the humiliating, self-destructive, embarrassing, selfish act of obesity.

Your post made me teary eyed

But it also makes me angry, because he is inflicting soooo much pain on another human being, his wife

Please make sure he doesn't pull you down with him, there is no need for 2 lifes being destroyed by obesity and gluttony, one is enough.
I wish he would get help and could become the love of your life again....the man you fell in love with many years ago.
